History
The American College of Phlebology is a nonprofit educational organization that is interested in all aspects of venous disease, but is especially interested in researching and teaching the most innovative and up-to-date methods of varicose vein disease diagnosis and treatment. This includes both the medical/surgical as well as the cosmetic treatment of varicose vein disease in all of its forms.
Our Annual Congress is a forum in which physicians and other healthcare professionals can exchange medical knowledge and techniques related to the treatment of venous disorders.
Our first meeting was held on August 4th, 1985, with fourteen founding members present in Encinitas, California. Since that time the American College of Phlebology has held twenty-one Annual Congresses, the most recent of which had over 750 registrants and 60 exhibiting companies.
